These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of www.adlea.org (the “Site”), operated by ADLEA Inc., the Armenian Dual Language Educators Association (“ADLEA,” “we,” “us”). By using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
1. About ADLEA
ADLEA is a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization that supports Armenian Dual Language Immersion educators, programs, and communities. The Site shares information about our mission, team, partners, programs, and membership.
2. Using the Site
You may use the Site for lawful, personal, educational, and professional purposes. When using the Site, you agree not to:
- use it in any way that breaks the law or infringes anyone’s rights;
- try to gain unauthorized access to the Site, its servers, or any related systems, or interfere with how the Site works;
- use automated tools to collect content or personal information from the Site in bulk; or
- present yourself as ADLEA, or as speaking for ADLEA, without our written permission.
3. Our Content
The text, photographs, graphics, logos, and other materials on the Site belong to ADLEA or to the people and organizations who allowed us to use them, and are protected by copyright and trademark laws. You may view, download, and print pages for your own personal, noncommercial, educational use, as long as you keep any copyright notices and credit ADLEA. Any other use, including republishing, selling, or adapting our materials, requires our written permission.
The ADLEA name and logo are ADLEA’s trademarks. The names and logos of our partners belong to them and appear on the Site with their permission.
4. Information on the Site
We work to keep the Site accurate and current, but its content is for general information only. It is not legal, medical, psychological, financial, or other professional advice. Program details, schedules, and membership pricing may change.
5. Memberships, Programs, and Events
Memberships, professional learning, events, and other ADLEA programs may come with additional terms, such as fees, payment schedules, cancellation policies, or participation agreements. We will share those terms with you before you join or register, and they apply alongside these Terms.
6. Messages and Ideas You Send Us
If you send us feedback, ideas, or suggestions, you agree that we may use them to improve ADLEA’s work without owing you anything. Please do not send us confidential information unless we have agreed in advance to receive it.
7. Links to Other Websites
The Site links to partner organizations and other websites that we do not control. Those links are provided for convenience and do not mean that we endorse or are responsible for those sites or their content.
8. Disclaimers
The Site is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not promise that the Site will always be available, uninterrupted, or free of errors.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, ADLEA and its board members, Guides, staff, volunteers, and partners are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Site.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute relating to these Terms or the Site will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Site after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
